Now that 2010 is well underway, and most of us have settled back into our respective grooves, we have time to consider how we would like to shape this coming year. With Valentine's Day being just around the corner, our thoughts turn to love and hope. In the wake of the recent earthquake in Haiti, we at LPKís would like to send some of that love and hope to those in need. With this in mind, LPK's launched our "Sweet Hope" campaign last month. At the heart of the campaign is our inspiration cookie - a heart-shaped gingerbread cookie made with certified organic, fair trade and local ingredients, captioned with reminders of what life is all about "Love", "Hope", "Joyî and "Peace". Fifty percent from all cookie sales, along with 10% of total Valentineís Day weekend sales (Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th) are going to "MÈdecins sans FrontiËres". After Valentineís Day, LPKís will continue to support this incredible and important organization with ongoing donations. Please help us raise as much as we can to help MSF help those in need.
