"Sweet Hope" Campaign 2010 - LPK’s is proud to launch its “Sweet Hope” campaign in an effort to send some much needed aid to people in Haiti. Fifty percent of all proceeds from the sales of our Inspiration cookie, along with 10% of total Valentine’s Day weekend sales will go to Doctors Without Borders Canada. An Evening at the Chef's Table, Summer 2010 –
LPK's is delighted at the opportunity to showcase an assortment of organic desserts at the third annual fundraiser held at The Boiler House Restaurant in the Distillery featuring twenty celebrity Food Network chefs. Money raised will go to Show Kids You Care.

Totally Fabulous Vegan Bake-off, October 2009 -
LPK’s is proud to have won two awards at the Toronto Vegetarian Association’s annual baking competition. We brought home ribbons and certificates for “Best Professionally Crafted Vegan Dessert” for our Nanaimo Bar (which is also gluten-free), and “Best Use of Local Ingredients”!

Change for The Environment

April/May 2009, Change for the Environment - LPK's is honoured to have participated in the first annual environmental campaign dedicated to cleaning up the air in and around Toronto. Thank you to everyone who dropped off their spare change - it's already making a difference!

17 April, 2009, Brewer's Plate - LPK's is thrilled to have participated in this sustainable, eco-aware food event. Over 600 pieces of LPK's organic, vegan and gluten-free desserts were inhaled in less than 15 minutes!

 

 

LPK's Culinary Groove pastries

LPK’s Culinary Groove makes Toronto's best-tasting organic cakes, pastries and chocolates. We strive to make each of our desserts with certified organic, fair trade, local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. We also feature a delicious and ever-growing selection of vegan and gluten-free desserts.

We create custom-made wedding cakes and cakes for all special occasions – for a birthday, anniversary, retirement or whatever unique celebration our customers have in mind.

We are deeply committed to green practices and sustainability. We are as environmentally responsible as possible, following a number of eco-friendly steps during the daily operations of our shop.

LPK's Culinary Groove was founded by Lesia Kohut, Owner and Executive Pastry Chef. Our retail shop is located at 718 Queen Street East, just east of Broadview Avenue, in the heart of Toronto's Riverside District.
