Beautifully Cultivated Desserts™
Toronto-based LPK’s Culinary Groove makes custom-designed cakes, pastries and chocolates that dazzle the palate and delight the senses. Because the primary background of proprietor Lesia Kohut is in pastry, flavour is always the highest priority at LPK’s. The elegant, often whimsical look of LPK’s desserts can be traced to Lesia’s experience in the arts of dance and music.
LPK’s is delighted that our green and socially conscious approach gives some of our customers an extra reason to purchase our desserts. We are deeply dedicated to using certified organic and fair trade ingredients whenever possible, and continually strive to use them in all of our desserts. We also make every effort to use seasonal, local ingredients.
LPK’s is equally thrilled by customers who are not initially motivated by our greener dessert practices. When these clients think of our desserts as the best tasting and most beautiful they’ve had, we’ll truly know we are succeeding.
LPK’s also offers vegan, wheat-free, gluten-free and dairy-free dessert choices upon request.
Lesia Kohut has worked as pastry chef and cake designer at several well-known Toronto restaurants and bakeries including Cantine, Flo’s Diner, Byzantium and All the Best Fine Foods.
Her culinary education has included programs at McCall’s School of Cake Decorating, George Brown College, the Lindt Pastry Exchange, Ewald Notter’s School of Confectionery Arts (Maryland) and the Culinary Institute of America (New York). She has taught at Bonnie Gordon’s School of Cake Decorating & Design, and has appeared at The One of a Kind Craft Show for various pastry demonstrations and at Brides on Bloor 2006 as a guest speaker on “Designing Fantasy Wedding Cakes.”
